“Al-'Asr -The Afternoon/Era/The Declining Day” – (Makki – 103rd Surah)

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
(I) Begin with the Name of Allâh WHO is Most Loving and Most Merciful
وَالْعَصْرِ
1. WaalAAasri
By the time/era (Al-'Asr).
إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ
2. Inna alinsana lafee khusrin
In fact, all human beings are in loss,
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
3. Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati watawasaw bialhaqqi watawasaw bialssabri
Except those people who brought Faith, and have been doing righteous deeds, and have been advising one another for truth and urging for patience.
